Haus Team: Fall 2024 Session - An audition-free improv performance group for improvisers of all levels

If you’ve ever wanted to join a house improv team in the greater Sacramento area but haven’t been able to find one, this is the sign you’ve been looking for. Join our Haus Team, produced by Windhaus Improv (Get it??? Because Haus?? Windhaus?? House Team?? You get it.)
This group will meet for three months, twice per month on the second and third Mondays and have two shows at 7 PM at the Geery Theatre, and will practice and perform short form improv games.

- PRACTICES: 3 month terms. Fall term: Every 2nd and 3rd Monday, September 9th and 16th, October 14th and 21st, November 11th and 18th, 5:30 - 6:45 PM
- SHOWS: October 26th and November 23rd, 7 PM
- LOCATION WJ Geery Theatre, 2130 L Street
- COST: $120/per 3 month term ($40 per month or $15 per session, with dates sold as a group package). Registration closes September 8th.
- ADMISSION: No audition required! At least some improv experience is highly recommended. You must be 18 years of age or older to enroll. Tuition is nonrefundable.
About the Geery Theater
The WJ Geery Theater is located in this 1899 historic Victorian in which the Pease Conservatory of Music has existed since 1921 in the heart of Midtown Sacramento on the corner of 22nd and L Streets.

About the instructor
A life-long resident of Sacramento, Jessilee Windhaus (she/they) brings over two decades of expertise in theatre and improv education and leadership. She holds a BA in Theatre from CSUS and is the Co-Founder and former Improv Program Director of Empire Arts Collective and the Founder of That Plus Chips live sketch and improv comedy troupe. Locally, Jessilee has performed at Sacramento Comedy Spot, STAB! Comedy, and ComedySportz Sacramento, where she served as the Director of the High School League program. She has trained with Upright Citizen's Brigade and The Groundlings and mentored young actors nationwide as a Tour Actor/Director with Missoula Children's Theatre. She currently works as a Teaching Artist at B Street Theater and an improv instructor and producer for Windhaus Improv, including serving as the director and coach of the improv group Sharks Barksley.
